Financial services connectivity provider BT Radianz has set a new timetable for the extension of its ultra-low latency connectivity service to Paris.

The BT Radianz Ultra service will allow market participants in continental Europe to gain sub-millisecond access to market data, execution services and trading venues, once it is switched on in Paris at the end of June.

A BT spokesperson told theTRADEnews.com that the customer traffic is expected to be live from November.

Already active in New York, Chicago and London, BT Radianz Ultra is targeted at firms that need low-latency connectivity to support their trading strategies, such as high-frequency trading operations. London was connected to Radianz Ultra in April 2009.

The impending launch follows the introduction of a low-latency pre-trade risk control solution for broker-dealers, developed by BT Radianz in conjunction with agency broker Lime Brokerage, in May this year.
