High-frequency clients of trading systems firm RTS Realtime Systems can now connect to Deutsche Börse’s new low latency, high-speed access interfaces.

The exchange unveiled the Enhanced Transaction Solution and Enhanced Broadcast Solution in the 10.0 release of its Xetra electronic trading platform.

The Enhanced Transaction Solution is an asynchronous message-based interface for low-latency trading, while the Enhanced Broadcast Solution transmits un-netted market data with “significant” order book depth at reduced levels of latency.

RTS will integrate the new connectivity options into clients’ existing trading infrastructures as they are not available via the exchange’s front-end. RTS offers proximity hosting solutions for Xetra and Eurex, for equities and derivatives trading respectively.

“With the newly introduced high-speed interfaces, we will enable our members to tap into new performance dimensions,” said Jens Hachmeister, head of Xetra operations and infrastructure development, Deutsche Börse. “Participants will considerably benefit from our technological expertise and the existing superior infrastructure for low latency trading.”
