Individual joins after a four-year tenure at Kepler Cheuvreux; previously spent 14 years at Canaccord Genuity.  

The TRADE sits down with Prashanth Manoharan, head of execution consulting and market structure at Liquidnet, to examine how declining touch sizes and widening spreads are impacting Europe’s liquidity landscape, how rising trading costs are shaping institutional execution, and the market structure trends set to define 2026.  

The agency broker has made two senior trader appointments as part of its expansion into the asset class – one will focus on high touch and the other on low touch.

As part of the move, Liquidnet has partnered with XTX Markets and three other market makers, with more expected to join in the “near future”.

Individual brings extensive electronic trading experience to his new role, and has also previously worked at TP ICAP, BGC Partners and ICAP Electronic Broking.
