Broadridge enhances institutional offering with agentic AI workflow integration

The expanded capabilities make use of both real-time data and operational context and aim to reduce manual burdens and allow platform users to refocus human expertise on areas such as client service and risk reduction.

Broadridge has integrated new agentic AI capabilities into its platform, allowing institutional clients to deploy this technology across their workflows.

The new offering is designed for both capital markets and wealth management workflows, and aims to support Broadridge users in achieving up to 30% reduction in operational costs.

Specifically, the AI agents combine real-time data and operational context to analyse issues, prioritise exceptions and initiate resolution, reducing manual burden and allowing users to focus human expertise on areas such as client service and risk reduction.

“Broadridge is uniquely positioned to support that shift by combining a fully integrated financial services ontology with the platform depth and operational scale required for institutional production,” said Tom Carey, president of Broadridge’s global technology and operations business.

“That gives the world’s most demanding clients a new ability to deploy agentic AI across complex workflows with a level of control, efficiency, and confidence that fragmented point solutions cannot match.”

The capabilities are available through two partnership paths, either through full managed services, with Broadridge providing end-to-end operations, or as a standalone deployment of the agentic platform and technology directly into a firm’s internal infrastructure.

Both available AI pathways make use of Broadridge’s financial services data ontology as a foundation for their operations.

The AI agents currently in operation cover capabilities such as automated trade fails management and break resolution, account opening and maintenance workflows and real-time valuation exception handling.

Broadridge has also confirmed that all workflows integrate human-supervised architecture to maintain oversight and regulatory control.

Further agents are also expected to be added to the platform over the next few months.
