Cboe Clear US (CCUS) has received temporary registration from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to operate as a covered clearing agency.

Specifically, the registration expands CCUS’s clearing capabilities beyond its existing authorities as a Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC)-registered Derivatives Clearing Organisation (DCO) to clear securities products in addition to futures and swaps products.
CCUS will initially use its SEC registration to clear Cboe’s binary securities options tied to specified corporate key performance indicators (KPIs), which will be listedon Cboe Options Exchange andavailable on Robinhood in Q4 2026.
