CloudMargin expands senior team with new client services head

Clearstream veteran Miriam Marascio has joined CloudMargin to oversee onboarding, support and relationships with clients.

Collateral and margin management services provider CloudMargin has hired a 14-year veteran of Deutsche Börse’s post-trade business Clearstream, to head up its client services.

CloudMargin confirmed that Miriam Marascio has been appointed head of client services for the London-based firm. She will lead the onboarding, support and ongoing relationships with its clients, which includes asset managers, brokers, banks, insurance firms, outsourcers and technology vendors.

Marascio has spent almost 14 years with Clearstream in various client services roles. For the past six years, she has been the client services vice president and global project manager in London, overseeing projects on improving client experience as the firm implements new technologies and processes.

“I have always found the FinTech space extremely fascinating, and I was immediately inspired by the innovative and revolutionary mission of CloudMargin,” Marascio commented. “I was impressed by the remarkable accomplishments the company has reached over the last few years and by the focused, talented individuals who are part of it.”

Stuart Connolly, CEO of CloudMargin, added that the role Marascio will take on is a critical one for the firm, and expands on previous initiatives with a dedicated relationship management function.

“Her deep understanding of post-trade services and laser focus on elevating the client experience will help ensure the continued high satisfaction levels of our ever-growing customer base around the globe,” Connolly added. “At the same time, her leadership and focus on our strategic direction will help us remain at the forefront of best practices and ensure that our client-facing processes are efficient and scalable.”

Connolly joined CloudMargin as its new chief executive in June last year. He is considered an industry veteran after working in senior roles at Goldman Sachs for more than 18 years in the securities division, and was also the former CEO of TriOptima.
