TradingScreen is an independent provider of electronic trading solutions to the buy-side. The company offers a suite of execution management and connectivity solutions encompassing all asset classes across global markets.

TradingScreen''s goal is to simplify the complexity caused by market fragmentation and the proliferation of asset class and broker specific trading tools, by consolidating execution management of both exchange traded and OTC instruments on a single platform. This functionality is delivered through an ASP install-and-support model.

Connectivity

TradingScreen supports FIX versions 4.0 to 4.4. The company offers multiple brokers’ algorithmic trading suites from a normalised order entry ticket and also have a programmatic Exceland API-based front-end in which traders can create their own custom formulae/macros for contingent trading.

Market data

TradeSmart is integrated with market data from most of the leading market data vendors. The firm also offers direct exchange connections and local pricing APIs.

Routing and trading venues

TradingScreen offers automated, rules based buy-side order routing via its auto-route module, whilst the majority of the firm’s broker partners provide smart order routing capabilities.

Future updates

TradingScreen plans Improved fixed income access and functionality, hedge fund in a box ‘light OMS’ functionality, a wider broker certification of its recently rolled out pre- and post-trade FIX allocation capabilities, and broader coverage of FX algos.
