This past week has seen a flurry of activity, including a global trading co-head departure, as well as appointments across outsourced trading, repo and credit trading.

New hire will be based in London and also previously worked at RBC Capital Markets earlier in her career.

Incoming individual has worked at BBVA for more than three years prior to her new position.  

Individual has also previously held senior positions at Danske Bank, Societe Generale, and Nordea.

The expansion further advances the bank’s growth plan and follows its strategy to build a global investment product franchise.

New head of strategic accounts at FIS Global previously spent 14 years as global head of electronic sales trading at BBVA.  

The ALPIMA platform will be delivered on a white-label basis and will be tailored to meet the specific needs of BBVA.

Developed with AWS and Bloomberg, the cloud-based platform aims to improve risk management capabilities for the equity desk at BBVA.

Eurex now has 28 participants signed up to the repo partnership programme including JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley.
