The past week was one for the books in terms of people moves, with a new buy-side head of ETF capital markets for EMEA and APAC, as well as senior positions across the sell-side spanning market structure, equities, rates and derivatives.
New hire comes shortly after a recent addition to Rothschild & Co’s equities execution business, and is set to support the firm’s Global Markets Solutions (GMS) platform.

Appointment brings more than a decade of equities sales trading experience to his new position, and also served at Numis Securities earlier in his career.
The transaction involves the transfer of two Rothschild portfolio managers, Cristina Jarrin and Mikael Dauvert, to Ellipsis.
Departing individual had been with Rothschild for a year after also serving at Marathon AM, Findlay Park Partners and Instinet.
Deal is expected to be completed in the third quarter; will bring Atlantic Equities under the Rothschild & Co umbrella.
