TORA integrates OTAS analytics for best execution

OTAS Technologies analytics have been integrated within TORA’s OEMS and aim to reduce trading costs.

TORA has integrated OTAS Technologies’ portfolio and trading analytics within its OEMS platform in a bid to help clients meet MiFID II’s best execution requirements.

The integration includes real-time analytics alongside TORA’s pre- and post-trade TCA tools to help traders manage vast amounts of market data and information.

OTAS said its analytics seeks to minimise trading costs by monitoring ongoing market conditions and alerting traders in real-time to events in volume, price, liquidity and spread.

Chris Jenkins, managing director at TORA, explained the pressure to outperform the market and meet best execution requirements has never been greater.

He added offering TORA’s clients the integrated access to OTAS’ analytics “will streamline their workflows, help improve their overall performance and enable them to meet MiFID II demands”.

Tom Doris, CEO at OTAS Technologies, added: “By integrating OTAS Analytics into the TORA OEMS platform, we can give our joint clients access to the most up-to-date information they need to make fast and informed trading decisions whilst improving transparency and efficiency.”
