Departing individual is set to take on c-suite role at New York-based exchange-traded funds (ETF) provider, Global X ETFs.
Departing head has been with Liquidnet since 2014; previously held positions at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse.
The past week saw appointments across equities, execution strategy, markets and investment banking.
The news follows JP Morgan’s appointment of two new co-heads of its markets division in January.
Incoming execution strategy lead will co-head up the electronic trading division and be responsible for the development of BTIG’s new generation algorithmic suite.

Individual has been with Arbuthnot Latham for nine and a half years.
New hire previously served at Exabel, Nasdaq, FactSet Research Systems, as well as HSBC, DC Advisory Partners, Close Brothers and Merrill Lynch.
Incoming individual will take up the role of EMEA managing director at Clearwater after serving for two and a half years at Aladdin and previously holding roles at IHS Markit, FactSet and Thomson Reuters and Great Point Capital.
