Deutsche Bank said it is one of the first institutions to integrate WhatsApp into its list of client interaction platforms via the Symphony Connect Solution.
Deutsche Bank is one of four international banks working with Symphony to integrate WeChat for corporate clients in China.
Messaging system Symphony has raised more than $460 million in capital to date since it was established in 2014.
Communications firm Symphony has been backed by some of the largest investment banks including Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas and Deutsche Bank.
Investment follows funding raised in 2014 from Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank.
